Emma Louise Thomas (35), of The Barracks, Barwell, pleaded guilty to a series of thefts from shops in Leicester and Hinckley. They were: Groceries worth £38.14 from the One Stop Shop, Leicester, on April 5, committed to prison for two weeks suspended for 12 months with £38.14 compensation and £180 criminal courts charge. Groceries worth £85.81 from the same place on May 8, committed to prison for two weeks consecutive suspended for 12 months with £85.81 compensation. Groceries, value unknown from the same place on May 12, committed to prison for two weeks consecutive suspended for 12 months. Groceries, value unknown from the same place on April 16, committed to prison for two weeks consecutive suspended. Groceries worth £15 from the same place on April 18, committed to prison for two weeks consecutive suspended with £15 compensation. Groceries worth £55 from the same place on May 24 committed to prison for two weeks consecutive suspended with £55 compensation. DVDs worth £61.93 from WHSmith, Hinckley, on January 10. Committed to prison for four weeks suspended for 12 months with £61.63 compensation.
