CHRISTOPHER JOHN LEWIS FROM LEICESTER SENT TO PRISON FOR 12 WEEKS FOR STEALING

Christopher John Lewis (30), of Heathcott Road, Saffron Lane, pleaded guilty to stealing a bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey, worth £27 from the Co-Op, Broughton Astley, on January 20. He was jailed for 12 weeks. He also pleaded guilty to a similar offence, a bottle of Jack Daniels worth £26.97 from the Co-Op, Kibworth Beauchamp on the same date. He was jailed for 12 weeks concurrent. Lewis pleaded guilty to stealing meat items worth £50 from the Co-Op, Fleckney, on February 16 and was committed to prison for 12 weeks concurrent and admitted failing without reasonable excuse to surrender to custody at Leicester Magistrates' Court on March 27 for which he was sent to prison forthwith concurrent.
