Photo Issue from City Watch Leicester

Photographs will be released to City Watch clients for the purpose of preventing and detecting crime. Intelligence is sent out on a daily basis and target photographs are issued at monthly meetings.

• The photographs will be of convicted criminals (targets) and any detained persons, whether dealt with by the Police or internally.
• The target photographs used will be official Police photographs taken upon charging for an offence and retained following conviction.
• The targets must be known to be active within the City Centre and its outskirts.
• The detained persons photographs will be the ones taken by each client when any person is detained, these photographs will be taken with the consent of the detainee.

The target photographs will remain the property and the copyright of the Constabulary at all times.

The detained person photographs will remain the property of City Watch at all times.
